Lebanese stylists have left their mark on the global stage by expertly coiffing international superstars and creating unique makeup looks.
John Sahag was a Manhattan-based hairstylist best known for giving Demi Moore her iconic cropped cut in “Ghost” (1990). Before his death in 2005, he worked with Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Mick Jagger, and Jon Bon Jovi.
Tony El-Mendelek recently styled former US State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus and is known for his editorial and bridal work across the Middle East.
Robert Khoury, owner of George Shop salons, styled Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage’s hair during the former’s 2014 trip to Las Vegas.
A go-to artist for Arab stars, Bassam Fattouh has also lent his signature glam to burlesque icon Dita Von Teese. He has a makeup brand under his own name.
