President Donald Trump made a cringeworthy comment about his attorney general while rambling about a range of things during a Tuesday Cabinet meeting.

The president, a man who’s never shied away from lobbing superficial insults at his enemies, left the press and underlings laughing as he mocked the appearance of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) while simultaneously insisting he doesn’t like talking about people’s looks.

Knocking Democrats critical of his supposed crackdown on crime, Trump swerved into the topic of transgender athletes before taking a personal dig at the Senate minority leader.

“And then I saw this poor, stupid Chuck Schumer, the guy, he looks like he’s aged 100 years, and I don’t like getting into looks,” Trump said with a smirk, prompting people in the room to chuckle. “You know looks don’t mean anything, right? When you’re in politics, looks don’t matter.”

Then, as he motioned across the table to the nation’s top law enforcement official, Pam Bondi, he tried to hold back a grin and said, “I look at Pam. I would never say she’s beautiful, because that’s gonna be the end of my political career.”
