Adam Walton of Australia awaits in second round on Wednesday, and Wong declares he is ‘where I want to be’

Coleman Wong Chak-lam of Hong Kong is relishing his next date with US Open destiny as he prepares to face Australia’s Adam Walton in the second round in New York on Wednesday.

Now, the 21-year-old has declared himself ready to make history again. He will take on Walton, ranked 85th in the world, on Wednesday.

“I can’t wait,” Wong said. “I’m already excited for it, so let’s go. I’m going to go all-in.

“I’m really happy – it’s hard to describe the feeling. I’ll take a day to rest and think about how to prepare for the next match.
