Source says case involving Tong Kin, 49, and Theo Tong, 12, has been classified as ‘missing persons located’

A Hong Kong father and his young son, who were reported missing two weeks ago, were in Shenzhen and are now back home, the Post has learned.

A source said on Monday that the pair were found on Friday, adding that 12-year-old Theo Tong Mang-shun showed no signs of injuries and was being looked after by his grandmother.

“The father took his son for a trip to Shenzhen in mainland China. [They have] now been found, and returned home,” the source said.

The insider said the case had been classified as “missing persons located”.
