A highway blaze turned 40,000 pounds of ribeyes into an impromptu roadside barbecue.
“Unfortunately they are all a total loss,” the Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District wrote online of the steaks that went up in flames on a tractor-trailer in Doolittle, Missouri, on Monday.
No one was injured in the incident, which was more-than-memorable for probationary firefighter Jenna Ulrich, per the department.
“Nothing says ‘welcome to the fire service’ like sending the probie to put out 40,000 pounds of flaming ribeye!” it wrote on Facebook.
