The Murasoli Maran Park in Perambur is set for a major makeover, with the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) sanctioning ₹9.52 crore to redevelop its northern side in just six months. The work has been scheduled for completion within six months of the site being handed over to a private firm for redevelopment.
The park covers 8,473 square metres and is split into two sections. The northern side, coming under Ward 71 of Thiru. Vi. Ka Nagar Zone, has been taken up by the CMDA for improvement.
