McGrath sets social media alight with her groundbreaking make-up looks for major brand shows, from Valentino and Schiaparelli to Maison Margiela and Louis Vuitton
For Schiaparelli’s autumn/winter 2023 haute couture show, McGrath painted some of the models’ bodies in deep blue paint. The colour was a homage to Yves Klein Blue, the shade invented and patented by the French artist of the same name.
One of the most striking Louis Vuitton looks created by McGrath was at the autumn/winter 2025 show, where bold red lips were paired with kabuki-inspired painted faces.
The beauty maven made headlines with the “glass skin” of the Maison Margiela spring/summer 2024 show. She achieved the reflective, doll-like finish with the use of sheet masks, distilled water and a special effects glue.
