Israel's Coordinator for Hostages and Missing Persons, Gal Hirsch, addressed the families of the hostages being held in the Gaza Strip, in light of Hamas' agreement to the mediator's proposal for a partial hostage deal.
"My meeting with the prime minister ended about an hour ago," Hirsch wrote, while Israel said it is examining the outline and maintaining ambiguity regarding its response.
"The discussions, the processes and the overall actions relating to the hostages and missing persons on all different levels – all of these are taking place around the clock and under a complete media blackout. In general, and especially at a time like this, it is better that it be so," he said.
"The concern is well understood, and the desire to receive additional information and details about what is happening is understandable. We apologize for not sharing more, and I will update when possible," he added.
