The nation will never forget the freedom fighters who sacrificed and laid down their lives for the nation’s independence, Forest and Environment Minister Eshwar B. Khandre has said.

He was addressing the gathering after hoisting the national flag at the 79th Independence Day celebrations organised by the Bidar district administration at Nehru Stadium here on Friday.
