For first time, UN blacklists Hamas for sexual violence on October 7, against hostages

The annual report on conflict-related sexual violence that United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres submitted to the UN Security Council on Thursday includes Hamas, for the first time, on its blacklist of countries and organizations that are "credibly suspected" of responsibility for repeated patterns or forms of sexual violence in areas of conflict on the Council's agenda.
