Taylor Swift's dad treated the hospital like it was The Eras Tour after undergoing quintuple bypass surgery earlier this summer.

In her debut appearance on the "New Heights" podcast on Aug. 13, Taylor opened up about her personal life, sharing health updates for both of her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift.

"He actually had a quintuple bypass surgery, and that's a really intense surgery. That happened really quick," Swift, 35, said. "He is doing incredibly well."

The surgery, which could take between four and six hours, "creates a new route, called a bypass, for blood and oxygen to go around a blockage to reach your heart," according to the National Library of Medicine.

Scott Swift, 73, learned about the five blockages during a routine medical checkup. As Taylor explained it, her dad was told, "We've gotta do this tomorrow. We don't know how you walked in here, dude. This is crazy."
