Taylor Swift dished on her new forthcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on her boyfriend’s “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, providing fans with some highly anticipated details about her 12th studio album.

Swift’s new album, the first she’s releasing since regaining control of the entire catalog of her recordings, will drop Oct. 3, she told her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his brother and podcast co-host Jason Kelce, a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles.

More than a million viewers were tuned in to the first few minutes of the episode’s premiere on YouTube.

Swift first revealed the new album and title in a promo clip for the podcast episode early Wednesday morning, holding up a blurred album cover. The clip had already been viewed more than 175 million times ahead of the full episode’s release ― demonstrating the couple’s enormous combined star power.

Fans are still waiting on a release date for the re-recording of her debut, self-titled album from 2006 ― the last of the albums Swift has revisited to reclaim her music after Big Machine Records sold her catalog in 2019 to investor Scooter Braun, who had ties to longtime Swift adversaries Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, now known as Ye.
