We’ve been speaking to Mohamed Duar, the spokesperson for Amnesty International’s chapter in Australia, which had awarded slain Al Jazeera journalist Anas al-Sharif its human rights defender award last year.
He says the staff at Amnesty are “heartbroken and devastated” by Israel’s killing of al-Sharif and his colleagues.
