Italian exports rose by 4.9% year on year in June, driven by trade with the United States, Istat said Monday.
In June, the stats agency said, Italian exports returned to growth both monthly and annually.
They increased by 4% compared to May 2025, while compared to June 2024, they reached 4.9% in value, driven by purchases from the United States (+10.3%) before the new tariffs.
In volume, annual growth was 0.8%.
Imports rose by 3.3% monthly and 4.8% in value year-over-year (+2.6% in volume).
