The IDF said in a statement on Sunday that it killed Al Jazeera reporter Anas Al-Sharif during a military strike in Gaza City. The military statement said that Al-Sharif "served as the head of a terrorist cell in the Hamas terrorist organization and was responsible for advancing rocket attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops."
