Netflix’s hit show is back – and so is Ortega’s delightfully gothic method dressing, including looks by Vivienne Westwood and Willy Chavarria
As the 22-year-old reprises the role of Wednesday Addams and returns to Nevermore Academy this summer for another dose of ghoulish fun on Wednesday season two, here’s a look at the actress’ take on method dressing.
Ahead of the show’s premieres, the Scream actress celebrated her show’s second season by wearing this edgy look, with a dash of Hollywood glamour, to Netflix’s Tudum event on May 31. The outfit featured an ombre leather trench coat, fading from dark grey to beige, from Markgong's spring/summer 2025 collection. She wore a headscarf to match and a pair of dark sunglasses.
Ortega took a more refined approach for her appearance on Good Morning America on August 4, opting for a single-breasted blazer over a black vest with a deep neckline and matching maxi skirt from Willy Chavarria. Completing the look, she wore a black sun hat that covered half her face and towering satin Louboutin pumps.
In New York City, Ortega shone in a black satin dress with leather accents by Ann Demeulemeester, while her hair was stylishly tousled for her appearance at the Paris Theater on August 5.
