A man accused of murdering a Saudi Arabian student found 'stabbed in the neck' outside luxury apartments in Cambridge has appeared in court.
Mohammed Algasim, 20, was found with fatal injuries, including an 11cm-deep wound to his neck, in the Mill Park area of the city on Friday evening.
Paramedics battled to save the foreign language student's life for more than 30 minutes but he was pronounced dead at 12.01am on Saturday.
The promising student was on a 10-week placement at EF International Language Campuses Cambridge - a private school offering English language courses to overseas students.
Today, Chas Corrigan, 21, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court charged with murder and possession of a knife in a public place.
