The highest level rainstorm warning on Monday night was later lowered before the middle-level or red alert was raised again at 5.20am, prompting the Education Bureau to announce the suspension of classes and of all morning and whole-day schools.
“Schools should implement contingency plans and arrange staff to look after students who might arrive and ensure that conditions are safe before allowing students to return home.
