Italian pianist Andrea Molteni's music is the star of three days of concerts at the Italy Pavilion's theatre at Expo 2025 Osaka with a musical voyage set in Italy between the 19th and 20th centuries.

The programme combines the romantic atmosphere of the 1800s with the more modern language of the subsequent century, with music by J.S.

Bach, Goffredo Petrassi and Franz Liszt - all composers who looked at Italy as a source of inspiration, memories and beauty.

"I am very happy to be here at Expo 2025 Osaka, at the theatre of the Italy Pavilion, one of the most beautiful and prestigious cultural locations", stated Molteni.

The pianist stressed how his performance will include a program of Italian music starting with a "piece by Bach, which is however inspired by Italy, the Italian Concerto", as well as the Toccata by Petrassi, "a contemporary (composer) I am very fond of and to whom I have also dedicated an album".
