A young family has been shattered by the death of their five-month-old baby boy after he was unintentionally left in a hot car.
The father, 36-year-old Jeremy Hansen, was arrested and charged with negligent child abuse resulting in death after the tragedy.
Police were called to the parking lot of Pacha Soap Co. in Nebraska on Monday about 5pm amid reports of an unresponsive child in a hot car.
Fire and Rescue officers arrived on the scene and tried to revive the little boy.
He was transferred to Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, where he died.
