She was found inside her dad's van after he forgot to drop her off and continued on to work.‌He started work and completely forgot his child was still inside the vehicle. Earlier, he had taken his older child to school but received a call which distracted him from his second drop-off.‌The tragic death happened in Brion near the city of A Coruña in the Galicia region in northwestern Spain. Her mum raised the alarm after she did not find her at day care when she went to pick her up in the afternoon.The girl, whose family also lives in Brion, was taken to the Bertamirans Urgent Care Centre in cardiac arrest but she did not survive. Medics tried for 20 minutes to revive her.Her cause of death is understood to be serious dehydration and heat stroke.
