Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday said that factories operating in industrial areas recognised by the government will not need to obtain a factory licence separately from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
“A historic change in the MCD factory licence system has been implemented from today. Now, factories operating in industrial areas recognised by GNCTD/DSIIDC will not need to obtain a factory licence separately from MCD,” the Chief Minister’s Office said in a post on X.
