A holidaymaker has drowned in his Majorcan hotel holiday pool.
Paramedics on the island said today they rushed to the unnamed hotel in S'Illot near the Love Island villa after receiving an alert about a 72-year-old Brit found face down in the water.
The alarm was raised just after 8.30am this morning.
Emergency medical organisation SAMU said: 'A British man aged 52 has been found floating face down in the swimming pool of a hotel in S'Illot.
'He was pulled out of the water and basic resuscitation manoeuvres were practised on him until the first ambulances arrived, when it was confirmed he had gone into cardiac arrest.
