Wang Zongyuan, Zheng Jiuyuan are pushed all the way in Singapore by Mexico’s Osmar Olvera and Juan Celaya to score an impressive 467.31

Chinese diving duo Wang Zongyuan and Zheng Jiuyuan won gold in the men’s three-metre synchronised event at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore on Monday.

Wang and Zheng finished on an impressive 467.31 points, but were pushed all the way by Mexico’s Osmar Olvera and Juan Celaya, who scored 449.28.

Great Britain’s Jack Laugher and Anthony Harding rounded off the podium with 405.33 for bronze.

The Chinese pair scored an impressive 99.18 in their final and most difficult dive, pulling off an almost flawless forward 4½ somersaults.
