The Telangana Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) on Friday vide an order appointed a Committee of Officers to examine the parameters for fee fixation and suggest revised parameters.

The exercise pertains to private unaided professional colleges and must be completed while adhering to orders of the Supreme Court and the High Court.

The committee shall explore and identify relevant indicators and benchmarks to be considered for determining fee structures, and other factors impacting the cost of education, the order said.

As per TAFRC, the committee will be headed by Council of Higher Education Chairman V. Balakista Reddy, and members include: Commissioner of Technical Education A. Sridevasena, Director, Scheduled Caste Development Department, N. Kshitija, Director, State Audit Department, M. Venkateshwar Rao, Director, Town and Country Planning S. Devender Reddy, Secretary TGCHE, Sriram Venkatesh, Registrar, JNTUH, K. Venkateswara Rao, Dean (Engineering) Osmania University A. Krishnaiah, and any other two subject experts as per the chairperson.
