The Knesset passed on Wednesday a motion for the agenda to "apply sovereignty" to the West Bank. Though purely declarative, the motion – backed by the coalition and Yisrael Beiteinu – could launch a wider debate on West Bank annexation in the Knesset plenum or in committees. However, the vote – which passed with 71 in favor and 13 against – has no practical significance.
