Fox News host Jesse Watters added yet another rule Wednesday to his ever-growing list of what men “should never” do. The conservative pundit drew ridicule for his latest dictum from social media users — who couldn’t help but note the seeming hypocrisies.

Watters appeared personally affronted by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), who recently shared a picture of himself on Instagram that appeared to have been digitally altered, as the bench he was leaning against in the photo was warped around his hips.

“Rules for men: A man should never Photoshop his picture, ever,” Watters said on “The Five” Wednesday. “A man who Photoshops his picture is a woman. And you never shrink your hips. Why is he shrinking his hips? Does he have childbearing hips?”

“What is it about his hips that he’s uncomfortable with?” he continued.

Watters has given these lectures on masculinity for some time now: He previously instructed men on how they should wave and ridiculed those who accompany their wives to the grocery store. His latest pronouncement appeared to fall flat on social media.
