Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz released a statement on Friday evening rejecting Haaretz's exposé on the Israel Defense Forces' soldiers who were ordered to deliberately shoot at Gazan civilians waiting for humanitarian aid.
"The State of Israel adamantly rejects these blood libels," they wrote, "These are vicious lies meant to slander the IDF, the most moral army in the world."
