This is the shocking moment a house explodes into an enormous fireball, suspected to have been ‘caused by gas used to make super-strength cannabis oil’.

The horrifying Ring doorbell footage captured at a nearby property shows the devastating extent of the large blast on Thursday in Halifax, west Yorkshire, that has left two men hospitalised in a critical condition.

Up to 14 homes were evacuated due to the explosion on Spring Hall Grove that appeared to rip off the roof of at least one home, sending debris flying into the streets.

Following the blast, a ‘large number of butane gas canisters’ were found in the wreckage. It is now believed they could be evidence of the mass production of Butane Hash Oil (BHO), a strong and concentrated cannabis extract.

Known for its high THC levels, often exceeding those of traditional cannabis, the drug is typically consumed through dabbing, a relatively new method of ingesting the substance.
