The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has cancelled the trade licence of a beauty salon after the police raided it for allegedly running flesh trade. The Mangaluru police stated that they raided the ‘Sixth Sense Beauty Saloon’ located on the second floor of the Pinto Complex in Bejai on June 19. A case was registered against the owner, Sudarshan, under Sections 3(1), 4, 5, and 6 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at the Urwa police station. Following the police report, the MCC Commissioner cancelled the salon’s trade licence. Strict action will continue to be taken against establishments involved in unlawful activities, the police said.
