The Israel Airports Authority announced Tuesday that Ben-Gurion and Haifa airports are resuming full operations, following a Home Front Command decision to lift all remaining restrictions.
As part of the return to routine, limits on the number of incoming and outgoing flights, as well as passenger caps per flight, have been removed. Restrictions on access for passengers and companions to the terminals have also been lifted. Duty-free shops at the airports will reopen on Wednesday morning.
The authority said it is in constant contact with Israeli and international airlines to update flight schedules and expedite the full resumption of operations. Passengers are advised to follow airline announcements for the latest information.
Border crossings will continue to operate as normal, the authority added.
