President Donald Trump revealed Vladimir Putin called him and offered to help with Iran but he, instead, had a snarky comeback for the Russian president.
'Vladimir called me up. He said, Can I help you with Iran? I said, No, I don't need help with Iran. I need help with you,' Trump told reporters on Air Force One as he headed to The Hague for a NATO meeting.
Trump has been frustrated with Putin for refusing to negotiate a ceasefire with Ukraine.
The Russian president has given his own indications of frustration. Over the weekend, Putin slammed the American attacks on Iran's nuclear sites as 'absolutely unprovoked aggression against Iran.'
