Three people have been killed in an Iranian air strike on southern Israel, moments before a ceasefire was due to come into effect.
The Telegraph understands there are multiple casualties in Beersheba, the largest city in the Negev desert.
It comes as Donald Trump declared on Monday night that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran had been agreed.
The truce was expected to come into force at 7am local time (5am BST) today, with an official “end” to the war to follow 24 hours later.
At least three people were killed in an Iranian missile strike on Beersheba in the south of Israel this morning, as Iran and Israel continued to trade fire ahead of the ceasefire deadline.
