Donald Trump says a ceasefire between Israel and Iran is now in effect after declaring a "complete and total" halt to hostilities had been agreed between the two nations.
"Please do not violate" the ceasefire, the US president wrote in his latest post on Truth Social after the truce began at 8am local time.
