Premier Giorgia Meloni said Monday that Italy may temporarily move its Tehran embassy to Oman after US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites at the weekend and the ongoing exchange of missiles between Iran and Israel.
"The possibility of temporarily relocating the embassy in Tehran to Oman is being studied," Meloni said as she reported to the Lower House before this week's European Council summit.
