A farmhouse in London, a bungalow in Seattle and a condo in a Queen Anne revival in Somerville.
By Angela Serratore
This six-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom house is a 15-minute drive from the center of London, which has grocery stores, casual restaurants and a hospital. The house was taken down to the studs, got new walls, floors, plumbing and electrical systems, windows and a new roof. Daniel Boone National Forest, where trails draw a mix of day hikers and overnight campers, is 15 minutes away, as is Laurel River Lake, a reservoir built in 1977 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Both Lexington, Ky., and Knoxville, Tenn., are 90 minutes away, while Louisville is a two-and-a-half-hour drive.
