Some 9,139 total tax evaders and 58,315 "black" or irregular workers identified, the latter slightly decreasing compared to the 59,539 in the same period before - that is the balance of the activity of the Guardia di Finanza tax police in the last 17 months.
Furthermore, 1,118 cases of international tax evasion were discovered.
Almost 21 thousand people were reported for tax crimes, of which 496 were arrested.
Assets seized resulting from the profits of tax evasion and fraud for a value of over 6.2 billion euros (down compared to the 8.3 billion in the same period before).
