Though it's still too early to say for certain, it is already possible – very cautiously – to assess that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's grand gamble has succeeded. Many question marks remain, chief among them the degree to which U.S. President Donald Trump is willing to join the offensive against Iran and take the "final step" of inflicting serious damage on Iran's nuclear program – the original aim of the operation.
