Five school bus drivers caught drunk during surprise checks in Hyderabad
During a citywide crackdown to ensure the safety of schoolchildren, Hyderabad Traffic Police on Tuesday caught five school bus drivers driving under the influence of alcohol across West and North Zones.
The checks were carried out at 34 locations covering key areas including Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Panjagutta, Begumpet, SR Nagar, Marredpally, Bowenpally, Trimulgherry, Mahankali and Gopalapuram. A total of 324 school buses were inspected during the operation.
