Young Indians (Yi), an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Erode chapter, is organising a Young Indian Parliament session for students of classes 9 to 12 at Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, on June 19 and 20.
According to a release from its chairperson Yadhavi Yogesh, the sessions will offer hands-on Parliamentary experience, fostering leadership and civic awareness. The sessions will provide a dynamic platform for students to engage in Parliamentary simulations, participate in structured debates, gain first-hand experience in governance and public policy, and make decisions on national issues. A total of 155 students from 20 schools will participate.
T. Stalin Gunasekaran, president of Makkal Sinthanai Peravai, will inaugurate the sessions, while MPs from Erode, Coimbatore, and Pollachi are expected to participate, the release added.
