The Holy See is in favour of peaceful nuclear disarmament, Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin told ANSA on the Israel-Iran war sparked by Tel Aviv's strikes on Tehran's nuclear programme Tuesday.
"We hope and work as the Holy See for nuclear disarmament, we have proposed, and indeed it has already been concluded, this agreement on the immorality of the possession of nuclear weapons and not only of their use, but evidently nuclear disarmament must also be conducted peacefully through dialogue and negotiations", he said.
