A 35-year-old teacher Muttu Mulla, working as a cluster resource person in government schools, was arrested on Sunday on the charge of repeatedly assaulting sexually a minor in a village in Bagalkot district.Officers of the women’s police station arrested the teacher and charged him under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.Though the offence was committed a few days ago, the arrest was made on Sunday, the police said.
