Italy had 80,991 minors aged between 15 and 17 in work in 2024, Unicef said in report released on the World Day Against Child Labour on Thursday.

It said the number of word-related accidents involving workers aged between 15 and 17 rose from 5,816 in 2020 to 18,825 in 2023.

The report said six minors in this age group were the victims of fatal work-related accidents between 2019 and 2023.
