The Suburban Train and Bus Travellers Association has urged Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy to use his influence with the Railway Ministry to approve a one-minute halt for all express trains, including the 12713/14 Satavahana Express, at Malkajgiri station.
In a memorandum submitted to the Minister, who is also the MP for Secunderabad, Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee member Noor and District Railway Users Consultative Committee member P. Bhardwaj noted that infrastructure development worth ₹28 crore is currently under way at Malkajgiri station.
