The Vidhana Soudha police are on the lookout for conmen, posing as senior officials of Lokayukta, who were allegedly blackmailing Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials with fake cases.
Based on the complaint of Srikanth S., Police Inspector, Lokayukta, the Vidhana Soudha police registered an FIR charging the unknown accused under impersonation, extortion and cheating by impersonation under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on Monday for further investigation .
