The deep flaws in the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's ability to address the Strip's catastrophic humanitarian crisis have become abundantly clear over the last couple of weeks. Already, more than 100 people have been killed and many more injured en route to its distribution hubs. No doubt, the 11.5 million meals delivered to a hungry population is an impressive number, and is certainly better than the situation that existed during the complete closure imposed by Israel in early March. However, in reality, this is just a drop in the bucket given Gaza's many ongoing needs even if the GHF mechanism never claimed to claimed to be able feed the entire population.
