A 73-year-old man was arrested for sexually harassing a minor girl whose family rented a house from him. When the girl shared her ordeal with her family, they refused to believe her. Undeterred, the girl secretly recorded the man’s actions and submitted the evidence to She Teams, who then filed a criminal case and arrested him.
The 73-year-old was among the 240 individuals who had to attend a mass counselling session at the LB Nagar CP Camp Office for offences of similar nature, in the presence of their families by the Women’s Safety Wing.
