A32-year-old Romanian security guard in Tuscany may have killed more than the two Romanian sex workers he has confessed to, police said after searching his flat Friday.
Police said they had turned up "new evidence pointing to more victims" in the flat at Monsummano Terme near Pistoia of Vasile Frumuzache, who has confessed to murdering Ana Maria Andrei last August and Denisa Maria Adas earlier this week.
A relative of Andrei's who is an inmate in the prison where Frumuzache is being held on Friday threw boiling oil in his face and he was taken to hospital with first-degree burns.
