Canada, which has seen a dramatic surge in Israeli immigration since the start of the war, has quietly initiated a 'structural investigation' into alleged war crimes relating to the Gaza war. The probe falls under the auspices of a program aimed at 'denying safe haven in Canada to war criminals'

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Canada's federal police force, confirmed it has begun conducting a "structural investigation" into alleged war crimes related to Israel's military campaign in Gaza. Unlike similar RCMP probes into other global conflicts which have been highly publicized, this one has remained almost entirely under the radar, with officials citing the need "to uphold the integrity of this ongoing investigation."
