A comedian has disgusted victims of the Liverpool parade crashed and had his gig axed after he posted ''I'd drive through crowds of people to get the f*** out of there as well'.

At least 65 people were injured after horror descended on Liverpool FC's Premier League celebrations, when a car ploughed through a group of pedestrians.

A 53-year-old white British man from West Derby has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving offences and driving while unfit through drugs.

He is said to have tailgated an ambulance racing to a heart attack victim before striking fans at up to 30mph near the city's waterfront, which had been closed to traffic.

Horrifying footage showed fans being catapulted into the air and some trapped under the wheels. Fire crews extracted four people, including a child, from under the vehicle.
